The River "S" Unit of the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge has a 4.2-mile auto tour route and 1.5-mile seasonal hiking trail. The auto tour route circles "Rest Lake", one of the wintering-over places for Tundra Swans.

- P903 ... December 18, 2011 ... adult male, banded on 26 July 2009 near King Salmon, on the northern Alaska Peninsula.
